Thank You!

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers at Saturday's Working Bee

Despite the inclement weather, approximately 20 dedicated people turned up to ensure that our grounds are ready for next weekend.

A special thanks to the guys who welded our broken goals.

Our fields do not take care of themselves and without the support of such folk, we would be playing on overgrown paddocks without lines or goals.

Again - Thank you!

  • Match fees vary by club and age group.
  • All fees must be paid BY CASH or by cheque. Clubs do NOT have EFTPOS facilities.

Which Club?

There are six clubs in the Football Hervey Bay federation.

Some new parents and players choose by club colours, others by which club their friends play for, and others will follow an individual coach. In the case of FCAC students, they will generally play for the school team.
Club colours are as following:

 Green, Red
 Flamestiny.jpg  Fraser Flames FC
 Maroon, Blue

 Black, Red

 Royal Blue, Yellow

 Purple, Yellow

When do they train?
Clubs are always reliant upon volunteers to coach and so are generally not in the habit of telling their coaches when and where they can train. Thus, the answer to this will depand on the club, the coach, and the available venues.
As a general rule, Fraser Flames train after school at the college, Sandy Straits and Kawungan train at KDO (Keith Dunne Oval).

When do they Play?
This depends on the age groups.

   Ladies
 Friday nights - 6:30pm to 9:30pm

When should I sign up?

The clubs have to nominate teams fairly soon after sign-up so in order to make sure your son or daughter gets a place in the club of their choice, it is far better for all concerned that you sign up on the designated days. Please do not leave it until after sign-up as this makes life difficult for the volunteers that run our clubs.

How long is the Season?
  • Season starts Friday March 19.
  • Season ends Saturday September 18.
There will be games most weekends with the exception of Easter and the middle weekend of the July school holidays.
This includes the final series.

Any Other Questions?

Please contact the clubs using the contact list above or ring Robert or Pauline on 0420 968 768.
