Thank you to the wonderful volunteers at Saturday's Working Bee
Despite the inclement weather, approximately 20 dedicated people turned up to ensure that our grounds are ready for next weekend.
A special thanks to the guys who welded our broken goals.
Our fields do not take care of themselves and without the support of such folk, we would be playing on overgrown paddocks without lines or goals.

Junior License Course
The junior license course was a tremendous success and I would like to congratulate all participants for their input over the weekend.
Thanks also to Greg Caulley, our tireless RDO, for once again giving up his weekend for local football.
Grassroots Coaching
Hervey Bay will also host separate Grassroots Coaching Courses over the next 2 months.
The ‘Grassroots Football Certificate’ is a 3-hour course, conducted locally.
The course aims to help grassroots coaches perform their role more effectively, by giving clear guidance on the nature of their role and the kinds of activities they should include in their training sessions with kids.
This is an excellent way for beginner coaches to learn the basic ‘tools of the trade’ so that they feel more comfortable about teaching football to youngsters, and their players receive quality football experiences.
All coaches who attend the course will receive the FFA’s book, ‘Coaching Grassroots Football’ and an attendance certificate.
There is no cost involved for the participants!
